The Ford County Attorney’s Office’s Crime Victim Services Unit (CVSU) provides support and assistance to the victims of criminal activity. Whether you or your family member(s) have been the victims of a person crime such as homicide or a sex-related crime or your property has been stolen or damaged, our trained crime victim services assistants work on a personal level to help you understand and participate in the criminal justice system; prepare for court hearings at which your testimony may be required; assist you in presenting your thoughts, concerns, and feelings to the court; and connect you with other agencies, programs, and resources that can provide further support to you in the aftermath of a crime.
