Ford County Landfill User's Policy

• All loads must be separated. (Metal, Tires, Trees and Brush and Municipal Solid Waste)
• All loads must be tied, tarped or bound.
• Commercial loads are accepted until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
• Food must be cleaned out of refrigerated appliances and freon drained properly.
• Grass must be unbagged or a tipping fee charge will be applied.
• Landfill may be closed due to extreme wind or bad weather. Call 620-225-5288 to verify.
• No burned Trash accepted.
• No dead animals accepted.
• No holding of cash tickets.
• No household hazardous waste is accepted.
• No tires on rims are accepted.
• On windy days the landfill maybe subjected to close for blowing loads.
• Scavenging is not allowed.
• Special Waste is accepted Monday through Friday with prior disposal approval and Authorization.
• Special waste must have prior disposal approval.
• Unsecured loads will be charged double the tipping fee.
• Unsorted loads will be charged double the tipping fee.
