FCFD Stations

FCFD operates out of six stations.

Station 1 is located just outside of Dodge City at Comanche Street and county road 113. This is the only station that is staffed with full time personnel. These 21 men and women make up 3 shifts of 7 personnel each and work a 24 hour shift schedule. Station 1 is home to Image of HazMat Trailer4 pieces of fire apparatus, a heavy duty rescue, 4 ALS ambulances, and a Kansas regional HazMat team with a fully equipped hazmat trailer. Our administrative offices are also located here.

Station 2 is located in Ford and is home to 2 pieces of fire apparatus and one ambulance. Station 2 EMTs provide BLS care.

 

Station 3 was closed in 2005.

Station 4 is located in Bucklin and is home to 4 pieces of fire apparatus, a light duty rescue truck, and a BLS ambulance. Station 4 also houses a satelite office for the Ford County Sherrif's Office.

Station 5 is located in Spearville and is home to 3 fire apparatus and a BLS ambulance.

Station 6 is located in Howell and houses 2 pieces of fire apparatus.

Station 7 is located in Kingsdown and houses 1 firetruck.
