Applicant Qualifications

All applicants for shift positions at Ford County Fire & EMS must have the following qualifications.

• Must posses a high school diploma or GED
• Must hold a valid Kansas driver's liscense
• Must be Kansas certified at one of the following EMS levels
  1. EMT-B
  2. EMT-I
  3. MICT

All applicants who are accepted must pass a written and physical agility test.
