FORD COUNTY LANDFILL USER’S POLICY

HOURS: 7:30 - 5:00 MON thru FRI (Grass until 4:30)
7:00 – 11:00 SAT. (Grass until 10:30)

-All loads must be separated. (Metal, Construction Demo., Trees & Brush and Municipal Solid Waste)
-All loads must be tied, tarped, or bound.
-Unsecured loads will be charged double the tipping fee.
-Unsorted loads will be charged double the tipping fee.
-Grass must be unbagged or a tipping fee charge will be applied.
-Food must be cleaned out of refrigerated appliances.
-No holding of cash tickets
-No burned trash accepted.
-No household hazardous waste is accepted.
-No dead animals accepted.
-Scavenging is not allowed.
-No tires on wheels are accepted.
-Special waste must have prior disposal approval.
-Windy days the landfill maybe subjected to close for blowing loads.
-Call 620-227-4526 in advance during wet weather.
